May 1 - The Feast of St. Joseph the Worker

Today is the Feast Day of St. Joseph the Worker.

It's also the First Friday of the month. There is Eucharistic adoration in the chapel at Valentin Hall until the First Saturday mass at 8 AM tomorrow.

St. Joseph the Provider.
Protector of our Savior and His holy mother,
My own family is in need of protection, too.
Joseph, you understand.
You know what it’s like to work hard for little wages
You know what it’s like to wonder where your family will
sleep. You know what it’s like to depend on the generosity of
others. But, your example teaches us to trust completely in
our true provider:
God, our loving Father.
Joseph, friend and kindred spirit,
Please bring the needs of my family to your Son.
