Bishop's Services Appeal 2009-2010 - Kickoff - Diocese of Lafayette, Louisiana

The 2009-2010 Bishop's Services Appeal is now kicking off.

Jesus tells us, It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35) Jesus knows that our act of generosity will bring healing and grace to the darkest corners of our communities, to people who are suffering and to people who have not heard or embraced the Good News of Salvation.

There are a number of priorities and needs facing our Diocesan Church that no one parish alone can address. Some require the strength and resolve of our entire Catholic Community working and sacrificing together as One Body. That is why every parish participates in the Bishop’s Services Appeal, so that through our collective efforts, we can build the Father’s kingdom by advancing the work of the Church.
