Lenten Mission begins Monday night at 6:30 PM

Our Lenten Mission begins tomorrow, February 27, Monday night, at 6:30 PM and will continue on both Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Each night, we will start with a mass. Our presenter, Father R.B. Williams, O.P., will begin speaking at 7:00 p.m.

The theme of the mission is: "The Time of Fulfillment - A Lenten Journey." In the mission Monday night, the emphasis of the mission will be on baptism. On Tuesday, the emphasis of the mission shifts to a penitential theme and confessions will be available after the mission that night. Finally, the mission concludes on Wednesday evening with the focus on healing and being anointed for our mission here on earth. The anointing of the sick will be provided during the mission for those who are in danger due to illness or advanced years.

Father Williams, a Dominican Friar, is originally from Natchitoches, Louisiana and is based out of Holy Rosary Priory in Houston, Texas.
