The 24th annual “Walk for Life” will be held Saturday, January 22, beginning at Our Lady Queen of Angels on S. Union St. The Walk begins at 10am with a short program and proceeds to the New Life Center on E. Landry St., ending approx. at noon.
The Walk is held to promote public awareness of the tragedy of abortion and its aftermath, and to foster alternatives that respect the dignity and worth of every human being created by God. We encourage families of all faiths to participate and we welcome clubs, youth groups and other organizations to come take a stand FOR LIFE!!
Please, no children under 13 years of age unless accompanied by an adult.
For safety reasons, and to emphasize that this is a solemn event, please DO NOT bring skates, skateboards or scooters. However, wagons or strollers for young children are welcomed. If you cannot walk with us, please consider joining us for the program in church.
For more information, call John/Jeri Miller at 948-9559.
Please be aware that you will need to provide your own transportation back to the church.
