Schedule for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception

This coming Saturday, December 8, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of our Blessed Mother, the remote preparation of the human race by God for the Incarnation of Christ. It is a Holy Day of Obligation, meaning that we are obliged to attend Mass that day just as if it was Sunday. In that regard, we will have a vigil mass on Friday at 5:30pm and at 8am Saturday morning in the church. The Sunday Mass schedule (4pm Vigil Saturday and 8am, 10am and 5pm on Sunday) will remain the same.

Please be reminded that all of us must attend Mass twice this weekend, once for the Immaculate Conception and then for our regular Sunday obligation. If one chooses to attend the 4pm Mass on Saturday to fulfill the obligation for the Immaculate Conception, then they must also attend one of the Sunday Masses the following day.
